KNOXVILLE LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION offers the following opportunities:

AMACHI provides mentoring services to a very special group of Knoxville’s children – those with a parent currently incarcerated in state or federal prison. Your congregation can make an impact by providing friends/mentors to these children. Contact Stanley Taylor at (865) 524-2774 x 104 or staylor@klf.org. A great outreach for Sunday school or small groups.

Neighborhood Housing, Inc. We make available high quality, three bedroom, two-bath homes, primarily within Knoxville’s center city neighborhoods. To make these homes affordable, we provide grant money to reduce the cost of the home. We also assist buyers in finding mortgages and provide extensive training in financial management and home ownership. If you know families who are looking for affordable housing contact Steve Pearson at (865) 524-2774 or spearson@klf.org.

Operation Backyard provides free home repair services for low-income homeowners in Knoxville. As a program of Knoxville Leadership Foundation, Operation Backyard works to strengthen the very fabric of our community by joining those in need with the materials and volunteers that can make a difference. Your youth group can have an impact in Knoxville by staying in town to conduct a local mission’s project at one of our summer camps!
