FIRST, OAK RIDGE has become a more mission oriented congregation this past year. They joined the Katrina workgroups of the Presbytery. They prepared high school lunches for area youth. They have sponsored a refugee family from Georgia,Russia. It was a rewarding experience for both them and the refugee family. They are willing to share resources relating to supporting refugees with other churches. They are also willing to walk other churches through the process of obtaining a heating and air conditioning system. The Sessin expressed a desire to make connection with other area youth groups (smaller than the Presbytery Youth Group)to share in meaningful activities.
